want to fit my springs to my corsa (not shortened shocks) but my dad said that if i take the strut or shock off, the bolts that hold them in place cannot be used again? therefore i would need to buy new bolts?
is this true? or can they be re-used?

You are supposed to change the nuts, but ive not done it now on two corsas and never had any problems.
If you are concernd though, new nuts will only be a couple a quid max from vauxhall though

its not advise but can be done. They are cheap from vaux though so worth it, if they have them in stock as they never do at my local one
