i heard argos were pretty good on returns? you got it in august so thats well within the year.

Argos said when I bought it that they wouldn't do refunds etc... I didn't ask about exchanges, I never thought this would happen
Either way MS are taking if off my hands for repair/replacement.

my mates exchanged his twice at argos. another friend sent his to microsoft and they told him to keep the harddrive and faceplate

Another friend had to send his too, wasn't allowed to keep it. Different rules for different people, bizarre. Either way i'm armed with USB back up devices to save my games

i dont get it, the hdd is an accesory really, they dont ask u to send back ure controllers with the console, why the hdd? bit silly realy

just spoke to him and my mate definately kept his hard drive when he sent his 360 for repair [edit] he's sent it back twice and kept hdd on both occasions
