is there any visable difference if you look under the bonnet between the two engines

not realy m8 but some of the 1600s have air con and thay have loads of yellow and green vacum pipes

To be fair, it's not even easy to see when you know EXACTLY where to look, is it Dave?

Vauxhall can't even tell if you tell them your engine number Useless.

i was told there is another stamp on the block next to the exhaust manifold.

but ive got a machanic mate who said he would do an engine swop for me for £100 each way

Very cheap indeed but for that price id be abit wary about it being done properly.

he is a very good mate+machanic+has owned his own garage for the last 5 years.would defo be properly done mate,so gorna have a good think about it
