As a few on here might know im fitting Bike throttle bodies to my X14XE along with Gotech management and a few other bits. A guy i know has a 1.6 sport which he crashed over Christmas and now wants to sell the engine.Its a 99 sport and engine has low mileage about 60k i think, its in perfect condition..I can have it for 550 euro with gearbox and everything else, thats roughly 370 pounds. Is it worth this and would there be a big difference if i fit the stuff to the X16 instead of the X14?Also would the inlet manifold be the same?

Would have got more answers in GChat! You would see better gains from the X16 and there would be better scope for future tuning aswell. Price sounds decent

Id drop the 1.6 in mate. £370 seems pretty good and will be worth it
I think the inlets are the same but someone would have to back me up on that.
