Last two were on the same RR, pre and post modifications. Only addition from the first RR session was a larger bore exhaust (Remus was std bore) and a cone filter... When the engine was std (with remus), it put out factory figures.

fuel pressure regulator, unsure what he means by that though, unless he means hes got an uprated fpr as an fpr in itself isnt a mod as your car already has one lol

I've said this a million times....

First RR was northampton MS. VERY good RR. Engine was practically standard. It put out standard figures..

Next RR was Mantzels. It had an Air filter and a new larger bore exhaust. It made 114bhp... (So at worst, v-max 5bhp out from original reading, but given the engine, i'd say it was right).

The modifications were fitted BY Mantzel, it was RR again after full setup and it showed 161bhp @ 7519rpm. They set the limiter to 7500rpm.

It was just as quick as my XE 2.0 up to 80+, in which case the extra CC pulled mine away. Not to mention my car is heavy, Donnas makes mine feel as light as a feather... Yet it still stuck with mine...

TBH, many people have moaned and whinged, but realistically, NONE of you ever saw this car on the road and I have, and it bloody flew, even with all the leather, ICE etc in it...

I have NO reason to doubt the power claim, and even if i were to doubt it, it can only be at maximum 5bhp down on the quoted figure.

RR results are pub talk, i could say it had 50bhp, but it was a bloody quick little 1.6 that could keep up with my 2.0.. Anything else you may THINK isn't right. It went just as quick as it was quoted.

I know full well about RR figures and their dodgy results...

D5's old engine was belter, it was gutless below 3000rpm, coughed and spluttered because of the air filter (hence gutless bottom end), but once it had got passed its mental moments, it fealt like it pulled hard all the way up to 7500rpm.

Im sure someone will come back that im talking poop, in which case, fine, you think that.. I know how D5 went, fuckin well, and even moreso with a LET.

I see no reason for Damien to lie, and with the amount of Corsas he has been in with varying amounts of engine modifications I would suggest his opnion counts for a lot more than most of yours.

Damien, did you ever go out in Lee Mannings Corsa? It would be good to compare D5 and that as they had simular mods although Lee's was supposed to be only 150bhp.

people go to a rolling road to get power results for thier cars and everytime i see any1 posting a result steve turns up telling them to forget it thier car wont be producing that bhp,

so what, no1 is asking your opinion, if your not interested in what people are sayin dont comment, you do nothing but piss people off when they post they're power results
