Hey,
I am looking into buying my next project and starting to get some work done on it. I am looking to start the smaller jobs first so this is where my questions come from. We all know what they do and the like so i wont bother explaning but i have a few questions.
I have been told many diffrent things by diffrent people but i thought that if i was to remove my door handels i would have to have a way of opening toe doors other than using a remote key fob, so i thought i could mount the solenoid button on the underneath of the mirriors like on some TVR's ect. This would make it all leagal and mot worthy right? Having the button on the ouside of the car offers another means for some one to get into the car other than using the key fob? am i on the right kind of tracks?
The solenoid kits i have been looking at only come with one button so i assume that you will still have to use the interior handels? If not what do i do?
I was also told that there has to be a means of getting into the car withought using the solenoid buttons incase the battery failed or some thind? can any one update me on that?
So really i am just asking am i on the right tracks and is everything i am planning to do legal as i have recently read about some one having their car imponded because he had no door handles?
Thanks for your help, Tomm
