Have got a couple of quick questions re. wiring an amp into a Corsa C

Have been told that I can feed wiring through a grommet behind the glovebox to the battery for the live. Have found this, but its fookin tight and I can't squeeze my 4 guage wiring through it - do people remove this grommet, or is there a technique I'm lacking?!

Also, earth - where's best to wire the earth to? Has been recommended to use somewhere like a seatbelt mounting point behind the rear seats?

Also, final question has arisen since starting on this today - where's best place to hide the phono & remote cables between the HU and the drivers side of the car? cable tie somewhere up behind the steering wheel?
