Looking at getting some decent brakes in the not to distant future and i intend on converting my corsa to a LET early next year so they must be able to stop that. I have a 2ltr setup on my car at the moment, its a bit spongy but i know most of that will be cured with braided hose lines.
Ive been looking at these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WILWOOD-4-POT-CALIPER-BIG-BRAKE-KIT-ASTRA-NOVA-GTE-16V_W0QQitemZ150023660339QQihZ005QQcategoryZ10404QQcmdZViewItem

and

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150052637136&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSEE_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=150023660339&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=UpSell_LogicX&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget

Which out of the two would you say would be better? the 256mm disks or the 280mm ones?
And ive heard somewhere that they dont have dust covers? is that right and or would it be an issue?
Also wat sort of pads, should i use, i know that mintex pads are good, would they fit in the calipers?

Anyone with these, if you could shed some light on it for me

thats what im thinking, but if i have to get dust covers (if i have to) and that price does not include brake pads either or braided hose lines either, which i will need to buy.

Any more ideas?
