Hi guys, ever since I've had my car if you let it stand for say 6 hours or more the brake pedal goes low... if you give it a couple of pumps it's fine again but if you start driving off after it's stood it shits u up at the first junction you get to as you press the brakes and not much happens after that it's fine. The brakes then bite early enough in the pedal travel.
All brake lines are fine (new at rear), all cylinders are fine (had 2 new ones on the back) and the problem was there before those changes were made. Fluid level is fine too not lost a drop in a year.
Any ideas??? Car is a 1.4 SPi Corsa Flair 1993 L reg.

It seems to me like a master cylinder problem.

have you bled them?
The MS could be passing, busted seals etc. Try bleeding the brakes first with something easy like the Gunsen easybleed
