Ok, everybody that has a subscription to sky magazine would've seen the Bose advert every month.
The Bose Wave stereo looks quite cool and, apparently it sounds awesome too.
So... I looked into it more and saw the price... £700+ with the cd changer.
Is it worth it?

Don't know about that radio but my uncle had a Bose surround system and it was awesome..
I have only heard good things about Bose.

You also have check the Bose 321GS/GX
Bose is awesome in every way except for the price. But as we say, you get what you pay for

My Dad has a full Bose system at his place, and TBH other than looking  there is no difference between that and the Denon + Monitor Audio setup at my mums.

I did wonder if you would know anyone with a Bose set up Cosmo. Does he have this wired up with his HD DVD player that he has had for 18months?

my old fella has the bose lifestyle 48 surround system. The sound is out of this world, really impressive. Way over priced tho at nearly 4k. I've not seen the wave stereo but i would bet that it is good.

I've never heard a Bose system in action so can't really comment. Never heard a bad word said about them though.
I'm sure you could get systems at half the price that would sound just as good
