Hi, just wondering how hard it is to fit an ICV to my xe??
at the mo its disabled so is ticking over a little high and using lots of petrol

Just bought one off ebay for bargain price of a fiver so will see if that one is any better.
Where abouts is it?
is it a garage job?

Anyway no its not too hard. You just may need to renew the O ring if it splits when you take it out. Other then that its fairly straight forward. What engine is it?

its very very simple to do as an exercise but very fiddly IIRC due to lack of room.. basically disconet 2 pin plug, undo the jubilees holding on the 2 pipes and remove.. refitting is the reverse of above

while the new ICV is out give it a good clean with brake cleaner to rid yourself of oily deposits...
