went away this weekend, came back to the car and the exhaust was blowing from the decat to the centre section, so ive bought the stuff to fix that, but it doesnt seen to be pulling at all now until it hits 5k rpm,
today on my dinner break i went out in the car and the revs were up and down and wouldnt start properly, but i saw that the plug to the throttle body was unclipped so i clipped it back up but it did not start straight away, but after that it has started but is still running crap,
when your at 3.5k rpm if you blip the throttle seems like its missing
im goign to fix the exhaust blow tomorrow after work and this weekend im going to refit the air box, ive modded that like some pics i saw on dave a photos  and get a panel filter hopefully this will help and ive got a new cts to fit any help would be great

have you tried unplugging your battery, i dont no if this wil help but i got told to do it.

the battery was actually disconnected before i got back in the car, my dad was setting my gearlinkage so he had it off then i came to it, i will try it tho

did ur dad dislodge any pipes or connectors wen he was working at the car id check that first

ive been thinking about looking into this, it isnt really hard to take off the mantzel and start again  so i think ill look at that

it had new pugs about 3-4months ago when i did the head gasket on it, it feels like its only a slight miss

Hmm jus check that all the clips are still on, i can't off the top of my head think wot sensors are near the gear linkage - It's a possibility is suppose that he's accidently disconnected one . . .

yeah im goin to hav it over the pit tomorrow, my dads a mechanic and knows what hes doin but u neva know what your oldies are like so im going to double check if not im going to try tightening everything up and checking the gaskets
i dont know wheter to get the cts or not

fixed the exhaust and that seems to have made a bit of difference and a new fuel filter, im going to put a new cts on tomorrow and the original throttlebodie for the car on
