foot down in 3rd before and at about 40 mph it was chuggin back and forth (sort of had a splutter thing)............... the orange light on left came on and went off ........................... always splutters in 2nd and third when cold i wish i didnt have a 12v

think its engine management or ABS, cant remember which one

Engine Managment light, one on the right is the ABS light.

as jules said the abs is on the right. you can do the paper clip test to see whats wrong

indeed it was, that's what happens when you run it for weeks with no water because all the water you put in just comes straight out again.

also, if you look, the dials say it's not moving, when I was actually doing 4200rpm in 5th

4200rpm in 5th, that's about, 80-85mph, maybe even 90?

I keep mine at a steady 60mph, does me just fine.

youre driving in 5th doing 4000rpm on what looks like a motorway doing 0mph and the engine as hot as a turkish bath lol......and you wonder why youre ecu light is on..............lol strange
