Ok thought the clutch was gone even tho it was replaced last yr so had it done but garage reckon its not the problem. It feels like im driving in quicksand in every gear have to feather the throttle to get the car to move. Any real pressure and its realy slow to move and feels like a bag of shit? Ideas?

Idles fine. But the engine is tapping from the top end

i had a slipping clutch that sounded like that once :S not sure about the tapping.
