Author i get some kind of noise when i brake

i was going about 40 and i had to braked hard
i got some kind of noise coming from the front
all i can think of to explain the sound is like pulling the zip up on a coat

ive got speedlines on with new tyres on the front i was thinking it could be the tyres but i dont no

havent cheched but think there on there way???
there not grooved disks jus the standard ones.

it wouldnt have nothing to do with wheels having no spacers/spridget rings what ever there called on them would it.

thats the noise i get a whizzing noise.
only done this since i put the speed lines on though

It's the pads slightly rubbing the disc thats makes the noise.

I took it as normal on the Metro.

have you got the anti rattle springs on the caliper?if so bin them
