any1 got a ruff idea how much it would be to get a x14xe head ported+polished.

gary on migweb will do it, i would say he is the best and cheapest.

£175 for porting and polishing
£30 for stripping and rebuilding
£40 for acid cleaning.

so your looking at about £240-£250

anyone on here will gary does a good job

thankx for your replys guys just after more power but wasnt planing on letting the insurance company no as ive already got 6 points+they wont insure me on a 1.6 sport.
dont want a aftermarket back box as i like to listen to the engine would a janspeed manifold+a decat with standard exhaust do anything for power.

I wouldnt bother with headwork on a standard car. Not really worth it for the gains.

Agree with AK. Unless your changing the inlet, anything else is pretty pointless.

like the above two say it wouldnt be worth it if your not planning anything.

AK is always quick enough to correct someone but not his own spelling mistakes

never knew it cost that much retail.
i got mine done for 100 quid, acid dip gas flowed then polished
