Hi,
Ive got "Professional" Tinted windows on my car, these were on it when i bought it, but there was no citificate provided when i bought the car.
Should I have been provided with 1 when i bought the car, or is there anywhere i can get them tested to see if there legal and let the % of light into the car required...
Im sure i will need one for insurance as i need to do a ERF for the insurance company, and my stepdad owns a garage so can get him to do ERF but there is a question about Tinted windows...

i think the only option is to see a traffic cop n they will put a machine on n test it

any tinting place can inform you if they are or not
and yes traffic cops will if you see one parked up explain you purhcased the car and was not sure if the tints were ok or not and if they wernt you wanted to remove them
i really cannt see them giving you a fine if you go to them
or even go to the pig pen they will have somone in the station that could pop out to do it

nah wont get one unless you get them redone
no one will do you a document for someone elses work mate sorry
best thing to do is get redone legal and get them to do it
costs about 50 for fronts
