nope, aslong as its torqued up it just squashes the rubber to seal it

cool thanks 
i've just put a new rubber on yeasterday and have to take it off to replace a screw 
do i need another new gasket too?

no, re-use the gasket and make sure the 'O' rings are in place on the underside. (a smear of grease helps)
remember to put 'hermatite red' sealant around the cam belt end bearings where they mate with the head.

thats the sealant that you use instead of hermatite. use it on the cam end bearings. (as shown in haynes)
