hi i fitted my cd player the other day and the centre consol went out after i had fitted it, i asked a few people and they said it always happens, aso my cd player wont remember its radio station or time and you always have to switch it on it doesnt automaticaly come on like it diid in my nova.

but the other day the centre conbsol came on lol and was on for a while. now all of a sudden it has gone back off.

are they always like this or what? also what can i do to make my cd player remeber all the info?

there a wire you can buy in halfrauds, cant mind the name of it,m but it connects to your car, then to the stereo

im sure someone will kno the name

You need to swap the red and yellow wires with each other

i had this problem with my first sony headunit, on the loom connector there were some thicker red and yellow wires with bullet connectors which i think am the permanent live and ignition live. if urs has these probably just a case of switchin em round
