hey,
i know i've posted a lot of probably stupid and really basic questions, but i'm new to all this and i appreciate the help
anyway, here's another...
my car is a bit rough around the edges, on the bonnet there are loads of chips, which are starting to rust (i've already put on some rust treatment stuff). one of the sill is a different colour as it's been put on recently, and just the overall paintwork is a bit tatty in places. the thing is, that like most people, i can't afford a full respray. so what do i do?
park it on my drive, bang an orbital sander on it, then some primer and spray it? the bumper needs painting too, as the old paint's flaking off (starting from where i bumped into a van, and carrying on along the rest of the bumper) do i need a special primer for the plastic or do i spray straight on?
the car's white by the way, but i don't think it was originally...so the plate wont have the right colour code...so how do i find the right colour?
thanks
tim
