While driving for the first five minutes the speedo is fine and then the fun begins.

The speedo starts to move up and down while at the same speed and gradually gets worse the longer you drive. Eventually it just dies.

Anybody know if it is the cable or the clocks that are buggered??

fiddly as theres not much room. you can get to it at the gearbox end by removing passenger wheel and reaching through from there, much easier than from the top. then remove the clocks, cable splits in 2 and remove both ends. fiddly and cramped but thats corsas for you
