I recently distroyed my exhaust long story and had the back box and mid section replaced. Now my car sounds like a deisel but the noise seems to be coming from around the engine area not the exhaust. The engine seems soooooo loud its unbleiveable but it doesn't affect the cars performance whats wrong? The engine roors when i start it up then decreases in loudness after about 2 seconds but is still loud it sounds like a deisel van. It never used to be like this.

sounds like its blowing,when teh exhaust was changed did they fit the fat o-ring which goes in between the system and the down pipe,if you dont have this it will sound like a tank
