seen an oil cooler and i basically want know where these fit and how easy they are, what gains do you get from one obviously no power gains but does it help the engine etc????
or a waste of time and money????????

my 2ltr XE oil hits 120 deg after just over 10 mins of thrashing on track. I thought they were pointless in a corsa, not after i fitted a guage to the bastard thing

i heard u dont need them as the sump hangs tht low it cools itself

only worth it if like adam you use the track or hammer it on the road all the time.
The sump is ally so cools very well anyway. As for fitting, installing it is easy, but mounting it takes some time. they came standard on GSi astra models and the 20xe iirc

I deleted mine, still have the sandwich plate for it though, but the cooler was trashed... Could buy a good one and fit it....

when i fitted my xe i wish i had fitted one as oil temps got to way too high. fitted one now and i now have very normal temps lol. i was doing another conversion i would deff fit one

tbf id fit one reglardless of hammering on track or where ever, lets be honest, you dont stick a redtop in a corsa to drive everywhere at 3k
