any ideas what could be causing a knocking sound when the car is on full lock especially a right turn???

Probably the CV joint.

clicking could be cv joint, knocking could be that or possibly balljoint. does it knock with the rotation of the wheels?

yeah dave it knocks with the rotation of the wehels on full lock. duno if its realted but the steering feels loose as though its not as sure footed as it was??
what you reckon CV joint? Inner or Outer? or ball joint or something else

take it to hi-q or quick fit and they will have a quick look at it for you. or jack it up and take a look if there is any movement in the balljoint or track rod end by shaking the wheel with ur hands in the 3&9 and 12&6 positions.
clicking or knocking with wheel rotation is likely to be cv joint.

I have the same problem with mine. I have changed the balljoints and track rod ends and wheel bearings. So this just leaves the CV joint. You might have the same problem.
