its not really a good idea then is it

if they are 7" wide u might get away with it, but if they are 7.5" then you'll have problems

i had 17/7/40 vulcans by team dynamics 100+, i regretted it everytime i drove the fuckin motor, handled shite, scrubbed on full lock against anti roll bar, scrubbed on back arches when 2 ppl in back, so had to cut the feckin arches to fit, so now ive got vulcans in 15's lowered 50mm and it looks the bees nackersack, handles very nice n im glad i sold the 17's, everyone to their own though

bigger heavier wheels will slow acceleration because theirs more wheel and weight to turn per a revelution from the same amount of power that would turn say a 15" wheel

Handleing will decrease because a) corsas wernt designed for 17" wheels b) ur getting ET40 wheels when corsas are ET49

if u dont lower ur car it will look like a monster truck, ET40 on 17s will go on, but u wont be able to lower it much before it caches the arch

my mates got 17s ET45 on a 40mm drop, looks mint, dont rub
