tbh for acceleration, i'd say 4-2-1 because if theres 2 exit points for the gases instead of just 1, they'll get out alot faster.

4-1 = more power at high RPM with a narrower torque band
4-2-1 = wider torque band throughout the rev range but slightly less power.
For road use a 4-2-1 is the only choice
