right, finally got a puller to get that damn steering wheel off. removed the two screw from either side of the dash along with the middle one at the bottom. then removed the scuttle panel and have a crappy black panel beneath which im assuming is used to further prevent the water from going down there. ive found one of the screws that attachs to the dash on the right hand side, im guessing the other two are in the middle and on the left hand side?
it appears that the wiper stalks are holding this other black panel in place but i need a big ass spanner to get it off (which i dont have) :/
its looking as though im going to deffinately remove this new black panel does anyone know the size of the spanner that im going to need, is there anything else that im going to need to get this fooker off?

well i finally got my ass round to taking of that other plastic panel.
i thought you guys said that there is only three screws under there to remove the dash...i counted 5
as you can see there is the 1 screw on the right hand side
ive highlighted the 3 on the left of this pic, and there is a 4th screw on the right of the picture. the screw in the middle is attached to something so im sure that 1 doesnt have to be taken off. the 1 on the right that ive highlighted doesnt appear to connect to anything so i dont know what that 1 is for.
im assuming that the 1s i have to remove is the 1 on the right, the 1 on the far left and the 1 on the right of the 2nd pic that hasnt been highlighted.
any input would be exceptionally helpful here, thanks

well, i got it out in the end.
ill write a small tutorial for taking the dash out so it makes it a hell of a lot easier for other people as this fooker was starting to drive me crazy. especially with all of the tiwraps behind the dash holding the wires in place
