am fitting my mantzel just now, have got this bit on the lower inlet i dont know what to do with.
Can someone help me plz?

anyone know what i do with this? doesnt give me blanking plate and doesnt say what iv to do with it.

EGR valve, just put it in where it came from ...

EGR? i dont have that on my pre-ecotec, what do i do to blank it?

have a search in hlep zone mate, it'll tell you how to make your own blanking plate with a coke can

thats the only way to do it really

seriously. you can buy a blanking plate from vauxhall, but it takes about 4 weeks to arrive, cos it has to come from germany

ok ok, so i have to make a piece of metal into a diamond shape, with no holes in it, and just sandwich it in between the holes and the plate in the pic above?

thanks for moving

problem solved now, just made a blanking plate myself from a piecs of thick metal.

finished it off and the is running ok, still to fit the battery securing plate and the filter, leave it till tomorrow.
