hi, my brother has got a sony explod cd player which he got with his car and since hes had it everytime you turn it off, all the settings go back to the factory settings whicg is very annoying for him, anybody have a cluw aht could be wrong with it, he also told me the is a pink and blue wire that arnt conected at the back

Pink and blue wires dont matter, as they are only telephone hands free mute and remote amplifier turn on IIRC.
what he needs to do - assuming it is in a Vauxhall - is to swap around the red and yellow wires. there are usually bullet connectors on these cables to allow you to do that, so that it can retain memory.
