1. Changing gear is a right arse. Every gear is so hard to engage i have to really force it. Q. Is this gearbox or clutch and or is there an easy fix or am i gona have to fork out!!
2. Seems to burn oil like im pouring it. Did service last friday new oil filter etc etc but oil light is on again!! I do a lot of miles around 50 a day but still. Q. what should I look for how shall I go about solving this
3. brakes have no bite at all. I first thought it was because of worn discs and pads so now have red dot 20 slot grooved discs and pads to match. Although at high speed there is no brake fede etc there is no bite at lower speed so would never b e able to stop in a n emegency. Q. what shall I look for and how do I solve!!

1st off doze the car go into gear ok when at a stop or with the engine turned off? if so i would try ajusting your cluch cable. 2nd you say u burn a lot of oil? is it smoking quite a lot? i had a v6 vectra that smoked like a train when cold and some wynns stop smoke sorted that. as for your breaks have you had them bled? as when the fluid in the calipers has been boiled a few times it tends to lose its umph. hope this helps a little

Have you changed transmission fluid recently? As for the brakes it sounds like theyre quite progressive and may just be a characteristic of the compound you have.

its still difficult to engage gears at a standstill.
Will have a look at brake fluid etc

if it gos into gear ok with the engine swiched off i would say its ether a prob with your cluch or if the cluch pedel seems low ajust the cable to make it tighter. its quite a simple job and should only take a few mins
