Whats the best way to do it? From below working up or from above removing the heat shield... if so, how do i remove it i'd need a reverse torx screw thing by the looks of it

Anyone done this, any tips/hints?

try getting to it from underneath mate, .. if you cant do that then go to halfords by a female torx piece

You'd be better trying from underneath, other than that you can buy sockets for Lambda sensors that have a slot in them for the wire. But probably not worth buying as you never use it again.

but joe... does it matter if you have more money than sense

Nah seriously how much are these? cba faffing about i cud probably convert one of my existing socket pieces to do this
