Whats the best way to do it? From below working up or from above removing the heat shield... if so, how do i remove it

i'd need a reverse torx screw thing by the looks of it

Anyone done this, any tips/hints?

try getting to it from underneath mate, .. if you cant do that then go to halfords by a female torx piece

You'd be better trying from underneath, other than that you can buy sockets for Lambda sensors that have a slot in them for the wire. But probably not worth buying as you never use it again.
