Hey Guys...
Ok I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times but ...
I am currently with Direct Line and I am 6 Months into My Insurance, I am 17.
Now I am starting to Mod My car I am going to have to switch Insurers as Direct Line Don't allow Mods for Under 25's (Arses!! lol), Anyway I will get a Partial Refund for the Time left on my policy with Direct Line BUT, I need to try and find an insurer who will be on par price wise with My Current one as I got a discount or online with Direct line then ALSO another Discount as Both my parents are with DL then ALSO another Discount as our house is with DL lol.
TBH I don't Mind If paying More with another Insurer atleast it will be covering My Mods.
Now I Don't know I have heard goods and Bads for all Companies, E.G. Adrian Flux, Good Prices and Allow Mods BUT supposedly customer Service is not too good AND you have to pay £25 for each New Mod/Talk with them ?!?!
Please Post any Suggestions, I really appreciate any help u guys can give me...
also If you are with a good company, an example of your policy so i can compare it to my situation to get a rough idea in my head.
Cheers Alot Guys

If you wait another six months then you will have 1 years no claims bonus which is like fucking gold dust at your age. Your talking the difference of £300-£500 cheaper on an 18 year old with 1 year NCB especially on a modified car.

every company I've delt with all charge an admin fee for every time you change something on the policy. I dont give a shit about the customer service, fingers crossed you'll only have to phone them the once when you arrange the policy.
A lot of companies done like young drivers touching engines and such, if your only going to modify the bodywork then some companies like CIS let you do whatever you like as long as you dont touch the engine/brakes etc.
My policy is with Performance Direct, I have 2 cars on it, a modified corsa and a pretty standard Toyota Hi-Lux Crewcab. I recommmend them or adrian flux or HIC or at least someone who actually knows what modifications do what. Adrian Flux do a discount for corsasport members.
