Well i have had this problem for ages now and just though stuff it i dont need them anyway, but i do now due to it going in for its mot soon so it will fail.

The problem is when i go into reverse there reverse lights dont come on well they do but once in a blue moon. Is this the Censer in the gear box, the bulbs are sound so its not that, just wanted to see if it was easy enought to change or fix. Anyome had this problem before.

yes sounds like the sensor on the gearbox,easy fix

Easiest way to check its the switch, pull the plug off the switch and bridge the 2 connections with a piece of wire or something, switch the ignition on and the reverse lights will come on if its the switch at fault. But yeah it sounds like it will be the switch anyway.
