Honda ESI am I right in thinking these are non VTEC???
I always get it mixed up 
For Example Civic ESI, CR-X ESI etc....

Nope that's lies.
Honda civic esi is a vtec (j/k/l reg ones anyway) they are just sohc 16v vtecs

Yup tom is right We had a Kplate ESI and it was the single cam vtec

ESi is a single cam VTEC. About 125 ish bhp. Similar engine as the Civic SRi.
