my brother was driving along today and the fan didnt come on when it was upto about 97, we have checked the fuse and thats alright, anyone no what the problem might be?
oh, its a 1997 1.4 sport by the way

Ive got a corsa fan as spare, for sale? Bosch fan, perfectly fine, working order

wait till it hits 100 degrees. if it isnt on then you may have a problem. most vaux fan switches dont switch until 98 anyway.

we went out in it today, it went upto 100 and then the fan kicked in

No problems then, mine only kicks in at around 97 anyway, but never lets the engine get above 100.
When the fan switch went on my old car, that was interesting - got to 106.

mine kicks in about 98 but his never went over 100 today so it must be alright, ill just tell him to keep an eye on it
