Now sorry for the Essay but please read! Comments welcome!
Old install

Basically Sara just wanted this putting in her new Sri, but fancied the idea of it being changed in the process. But dew to us splitting up etc I didn't get round to building her new install.
She went down to Clitheroe a place called Auto Installs
After talking to them and explaining what she wanted she booked the car in. They had the car 5 working days and built this

They also trimmed the door cards with grey alcantara and put her components up front. Looks ok???
The door cards didn't match, the passangers alcantara must have been a little short so they put a little extra on to cover what they'd missed. The handle on the drivers door pulled straight off in her hand and the trimmed part with the tweeter in was hanging off! The headunit goes off if the engine isn't running??? The front speakers distort from time to time, the volume of which is irrelevant. She specifically asked for the spare wheel to be removed, they left it in! And to top things off they binned my old f***ing install!!!!

So please spread the word and tell everyone to avoid Auto Installs in Clitheroe, complete cowboys!!!!

Cost......

Far to much for what they've done in my eyes and the job was half finished!
I work in retail too and there service was shocking!

£850 She handed over!

Ps. I built her first install for less than twenty quid and no more than 6 hours work!

I prefer the old install it was neater and more care was put into it (thank u Ryk). Plus it wasnt £850! ! And!! I could still play music with the engine off! ! Which is how I want it now!!!! But according to those at Auto Install it's not possible!!

Ryk took it back for me yesterday and they sorted the alcantara door cards out so they matched, they took the spare wheel out from under the install (i dont know what I was supposed to do if I actually had a puncture and the spare wheel was under there!!)..

They said the speakers wern't distorting when they are! !

Oh and they snapped the thingy on my surround for the head unit so it keeps popping out.

And I had some pink neons in the footwells and when I got the car back they were blue? ? ? ha ha

So basically, if you're from NW and you're passing Clitheroe, Lancashire don't take your car to Auto Installs.

Sounds like professionals.

Keep taking it back until its right, and any things which are wrong tell them about it. Dont take no sh*t off them, but i fink youve been bent over for 850.

Pics of doorcards?

Thats not the whole door card oviously but thats the good one, it was the drivers doors tweeter bit that was hanging off. they've sorted that now but still not happy.

Just avoid the place at all cost and you'll be happy!
