can this be done and how is it done?

does the unit need to be opened and digits manually turned?

ANY adjustment of the mileage is illegal i believe

it is illegal to mis-represent the vehicle ie turn milage back so vehicle appears to have done less miles than it actually has

you can buy clocks and put them to your present milage

The way to do it is to attatch a drill to the gearbox transducer and wind on baby..

Not sure on electronic clocks, all you need to do is get the transducer to spin - guess you could do it with some tape and a drill bit. The clocks have to be wired in first though

Winding it forward by stimulating the transducer is OK so long as you don't need to go particularly far. Even on full speed you are only going to put on 150-160 miles in an hour. You'll burn the drill out before you get in to four figures.
