I am trying, with no luck, to locate a 12v 500mA negative ouput trigger wire for when my alarm is armed. However my alarm does not have the output, so i am thinking of a way round it.
or at least trying to........

500 Mah is the depletion normally, a higher Mah, would equal longer battery duration

At a guess, i think your trying to wire up your central locking to your alarm.
If so you may need to get a central locking interface.
It takes a positive input, trips a relay or something to give you a negative output.
