Got my new head unit today!!
Sony CDX M8800!
Plugged it in but everything is not right, i just plug in the 2 iso plugs but thats all!! Everything on the head unit is working except 2 things!?
I couldnt find the aerial wire in the hole where my head unit goes, that helps tune the radio, I have a corsa 1995 sri, it should have one shouldnt it, and its the black think wire with the plug on the end?? couldnt find it anywhere??
Also, when it was flipped open it works, but when its shut, its meant to display images, etc but nothing is happening!! you think its the sockets in the car or the head unit thats faulty, as it play music, just doesnt show the images!?
Any help much appreciated!!

sounds like the radio is at fault with the display but the aerial it should be there somewhere if the radio worked before

when the facia is closed press the button on the right hand side this changes the display on the front of the unit
also make sure that you have dis-connected the blue wire which messes wiv the temp display on centre of dashboard if you have the american m8800 like i do then there are slight differences

i know about the right button changing the display, but there is no display, its blank!!
you mean the blue wire in the iso plugs?? and do i disconnect the one connected to the head unit or the one connected to my car??
