just jacked it up to do a few jobs underneath; clean it up and fit new exhaust hanger - and the first 2 coils of the rear spring were hanging over the brake cable - snapped clean off -

don't know when it happened- but it was a new spring last May - and it's only had 5000 miles on it

! !

just glad I wasn't driving it when I found it

not going anywjere -was gonna fix it myself but local garage are having a look for this ticking noise I've got from Cam Belt - and said they'll do it for the cost of the spring - word
