Thermostat on my 20XE is leaking a tiny bit, if you have experienced this and fixed the problem what was the actual cause of it?
After speaking to the nice man at Autovaux he clued me up about the parts, theres two parts of the thermostat, one thats attached to the block and the other bit that sits on top?
Again according to him they dont sell alot of the bottom halfs that attach to the block, and I'd rather save myself abit of money by getting parts I'll probably need (such as an 80p seal instead of a £20 part )
Help.

theres a funny shaped seal between the housing and the cylinder head and a large o-ring between the stat and the housing.
Which bit is the water coming from?
You might even be leaking from one of the temp probes

well buy both of the seals, and see if the temp probes need tightening.
will cost about £2 and take 10mins for peace of mind
