I'm just about to fit my sub and amp in my car, it is a 4 channel 800w Planet audio amp, can i run my door speakers 6x9's and my sub of it?

It depends how powerful the sub is? you could use 1 channel for the sub or you could bridge it across 2 channels, depending on teh RMS value. then that only leaves you 2 or 3 channels (depending on how uve wired up te sub) for the front speakers and 6x9's. you will need one channel per speaker. so u will only have enough 2 wire up the front speakers. hope this helps

would i benifit more from amping my 6x9's or my door speakers?

definitly the door speakers. they wont be very loud if you just power them off the head unit

My local I.C.E shop said they CAN actually run this set-up, with the 4 channel amp powering the fronts, 6x9's and my sub, anyone know how they do this?

yeah run the 6x9s and sub in series to get a impedance of 2 ohm and not 4ohm
i would chuck ur 6x9s if u got a sub as they bcome pointless
