dont cut it the way they say on the packet - make a template of the window out of card or summat - much easier

Everyone always says dont do it let the pros. Surely you can get a decent results if you do it properly and save 150 quid, anyone got any pics of DIY jobs.

im doing a tutorial on how to do it yourself just now. Wont be finished for a few days yet as im doing different cars and taking photos along the way. There is a technique to doing it plus little tips that will help.
Ive been tinting windows for 5 years now and im still learning...

Its windows that are curved on 2 planes, like the rear one, that are hard to do.
A flat side window is easy.
Worth taking it to be done though.
The money you'll waste on film could go towards getting it done properly.

i can get film for about a fiver though so surely its better to have a go with that if i decided to do them.

i paid £140 to have all my windows tinted bar the front windscreen, and its a really quality job! this polish guy who lives in close is spot on!! u2u if u want the number m8y

i paid £110 to get all my windows done apart from the windscreen, i would rather pay the money than get frustrated trying to do it myself, but you could always take the window out and tint it, thats the easiest way!
