im getting a crakkle noise now and agin from my front speakers how can i stop this

check the wiring to them?

they standard or aftermarket?

have you got the autolead adaptors, with the crappy black plugs on.

if you have cut the plugs off and put in your own connectors, i had a problem with them until i did this. the plugs are crap and dont push together tight enough

My front right speaker crackles and goes on and off sometimes. Needs the connection redoing properly

As said above, I had this with my old car, so cut them and used bullet connectors to attach the new cable to the vauxhall cable.

When I fitted new speakers to my new car, I tried the autoleads adaptor leads again but didn't fit the speaker with them, as I could feel they were loose, so soldered the cables together. This will definitely be your problem if you are using those adaptors.

bad connections seem to be the immediate problem though.
