Cant shut my boot at all

Had it open for about an hour, went to close it and the catch doesnt seem to be catching

Any ideas ?

the lock mechanism can move! move it with ur finger! u;l see what im talking about if u go out mate

What you mean ?

Its not that its locked shut ? Its open , in the open position for the lock ?

Test it with a screwdriver where the lock finger would normally be.

So something may be obstructing the boot ?
