did ne1 see the bit on mig bout a meriva vxr coming out wiv a 1.6 turbo engine so possibly same engine as to whether it goes in the c or d is another question

yeah we got one on demo, 2.8 v6 turbo, mid range is awesome, sounds grunty as well. bit disappointed with steering though, seems a tad light

fiat might do a new punto turbo as it is sharing the chassis as the 07year corsa D.
however i doubt it will be a vxr

The Corsa VXR 1.6 Turbo engines rings a bell. I think I've heard this is the plan provided they can make it reliable enough?

the Z16LET has been in testing for quite some time IIRC, should be a storming engine if they can get the claimed 180bhp
