hi, over the weekend my mate and i de-catted and de-middle boxed my x14xe, so now all i am running is pipercross induction kit, standard inlet manifold, standard exhaust manifold and an irmscher backbox with straight through 2" pipe inbetween. now i like the loudness of it in its new state although when i plant my foot down i cant help but think how annoying this loud rasp noise i get is!, now i wanted it to rasp a little but not quite this much lol!, would buying a better backbox help this does anyone know?  im thinking along the lines of, piper, remus, jetex etc. any help and advice would be appreciated, p.s it doesnt sound to be blowing in anyway as we have welded all the joins and it sounds fine on tick over and when revving the engine whilst at a standstill. only rasps loudly when accelerating hard. cheers.
