hi there, i had a 1 litre engine in my car before, and it had a rev counter, however i had an engine conversion to a 1.4 16v sport!
because of this my rev counter is now out, it redlines at about 4k on the clock
if i were to buy some 1.4 16v sport clocks, is it just a take out and put new ones in job?
or do i need to change around any wires or stuff?

Yea, you need to change your clocks to ones that are suited for a 4 cylider engine for the rev counter to work. So any clocks will work, so long as they are not from a diesel or a 1.0... They will be a direct swap

sweet ive seen some for sale on here and just wanted to know if ill have to fanny about with the wiring, but if they are a direct swap then its worth while just so my rev counter works properly!
