just get a the OE one no point in being to artyfarty.... i think the only other thing you can use is to dry sump... and unless yer doing the leman 24hrs i wouldnt bother with this...

sbd sell steel oil pump gears and nylon pressure release valves, other than fitting a couple of washers under the release spring, not much uprating i know of

Vauxhall isn't too bad for part prices, honestly. In fact, my local Vauxhall dealer has more of a motor factors for it's parts department. But if you are thinking about upgrading, then surely you should be prepared to pay for genuine parts...
