there are loads of websites that sell proper VW's.

Or buy a copy of Volksworld and there are literaly 100's

Although we searched for ages to find the right one for us, dont just buy the first one you go and see, even if it is a resto project, get the best condition one you cann afford. When we started the beetle it cost us £350, ive now probably spent around the £5k mark (not including the crap bodyshop that did it first). And ive not skimped, but not gone all out.

Its in Whitby north yorkshire mate, was in need of work by looks if it.. rust etc.

yea, thinking bout spending around £2500 to £3k on it, then restoring it over time.

time you'll always be fighting against it. if you buy a car/van that needs resto, it will get worse...FAST

I think i saw that van in newquay when i was up there. where were u staying as ive just come back from a week down there.

me and my mates all started talking about buyin one and restoring it for going down the next year. i doubt it will ever happen, its just wot newquay does to you!

ebay and vw mags!!

My mate bought a split screen about 2 years ago now for 5k, in a rough state. sprayed it up got leather trim and dvd player etc in it, drove around europe and just sold it for 11k!!
